After online clearance, students are required to go to their various departments for physical verification.
In the course of the physical verification, students would be required to pay for ‘result verification pin.’ The price for this could range from 1,000 – 3,000 depending on the number of results your using and your department.
After verification, students are to return to their place to they did their clearance for collection of their ‘Clearance Acknowledgment Slip.’(I advice you do it inside school, contact NDUHELP 09012051320)
At this point, Students must have spent about #58,000. After verification, Students would now be eligible to pay their school fees through the university online portal. Please note that all fees are paid online through the students’ dashboard on the university’s web interface.
Before fee payment, students are required to have completed their Student Data Form and apply for university’s Skill Acquisition programme. The cost for both of them is #8,000.
Note that the amount for fee differs depending on students’ department/faculty and state of origin. Students’ state of origin is basically categorized into two; indigenes (Bayelsans) and non-indigens (Non-Bayelsans). The fees are explained below:
Faculty(ies) of Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Pharmacy and Nursing = #150,000 (for indigenes) and #200,000 for Non indigenes.
Faculty of Law = #130,000 for indigenes and #180,000 for non-indigene.
Faculty of Engineering = #120,000 for indigenes and #170,000 for non-indigenes.
Faculty(ies) of Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Agriculture, Education and Science = #110,000 for indigenes and #160,000 for non indigenes.
Note that Biochemistry in the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences will pay #110,000 as indigenes and #160,000 as non indigenes.
Beyond these payments, students are expected to make the following online payments;
Course Registration; #4,000
School Fee E-Teller and Online Charges – 2,000
Matriculation Gown = 4,500
X-Ray = 7,000.
For easy comprehension, we categorize these payments into two categories; “Clearance Payments which is a total of #55,000” and “Post Clearance Payment which is #25,500” which sums up to a total of #80,500.
Below is therefore, an estimated cost for fresh students depending on their faculty.
Faculty(ies) of Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Pharmacy and Nursing
Indigenes (#150,000 + #80,500) = #230,500
Non Indigenes (#200,000 + 80,500) = #280,500
Faculty of Law
Indigenes (#130,000 + #80,500) = #210,500
Non Indigenes (#180,000 + 80,500) = #260,500
Faculty of Engineering
Indigenes (#120,000 + #80,500) = #200,500
Non Indigenes (#170,000 + 80,500) = #250,500
Faculty(ies) of Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Agriculture, Education and Science (Including Department of Biochemistry)
Indigenes (#110,000 + #80,500) = #290,500
Non Indigenes (#160,000 + 80,500) = #240,500
Students and parents/guardians should note that these payments are not made at once. Though the institution does not accept payments in installments, you would note that these charges contain numerous components that could be paid one at a time.
Also, the above costs do not include accommodation/hostel and other miscellaneous costs/payments made at various departments.
Accommodation is grouped into Hostel Accommodation and Off-Campus Accommodation.
Hostel Accommodation ranges from #20,000 - #22,000 (Online and Processing Charges inclusive).
Off Campus Accommodation varies according to the nature of the House or its environment. Costs for Single Rooms could range from; #50,000 - #60,000 while the Cost for Self Contain ranges from #80,000 - #170,000.
Even as most students and parents/guardians are basking in the euphoria of the moment, we advise that you do your clearance with us so as to avoid sad tales resulting from fraudulent activities.
BEWARE!!! We can only guarantee few places that are legal for clearance tops the list. You can go to WAD-TECH is located within NDU environment, has a well-equipped permanent structure with a perfect organogram and competent staff.
We discourage students from doing their clearance outside the school environment as it is difficult and often expensive to correct errors emanating therefrom.
Errors often occur when students do clearance outside the school environment because the majority of café operators do not have adequate knowledge of the NDU Online system.
